A mixture of low and high-tech gear is used to simulate crash landing into a body of water. Marines are blindfolded, loaded down with gear, flipped upside down and submerged underwater. Take a glimpse at the training that Marines rely on to save their lives when everything that can go wrong, does go wrong.

These are the Marines of Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. The training is designed to teach the Marines how to escape a downed helicopter in the water.

But this is easy. Show us some Great White sharks and then maybe we’ll get excited!
