Anti-Second Amendment Rights MSNBC Host Leaving for The Atlantic Magazine

April 27, 2016

Alex Wagner, the former host of “Now With Alex Wagner” from 2011 to 2015 on MSNBC, has left the network to join The Atlantic magazine. The show was delightfully put to an end back in 2015 when the network wanted to shift their focus from politics to more world news because the public lacked interest in her opinionated program.

There she will become a senior editor and according to Politico “will not just be writing for the outlet, she will also play a major role in its live events and video projects.”

Wagner was known for her liberal extremism in her show. Back in 2011 she stated “I think get rid of the second amendment, the right to bear arms. I just think in the grand scheme of the rights that we have; the right of assembly, free speech, I mean, owning a gun does not, it does not tally on the same level as those other Constitutional rights.”

And again, back in 2013, she called the NRA racist. She also said Wayne LaPierre, vice president of the NRA, is scared of dark people.

The Atlantic’s statement said that “She will write for The Atlantic, moderate events with AtlanticLIVE, and help to develop video and TV projects with The Atlantic Studios,”

After Wagner’s show was cancelled, she was promised a weekend program on the network, but thankfully for all those in favor of the Second Amendment protecting our rights to own firearms, the program never came to be.
