In a video that is currently going viral on social media but was filmed over Veteran’s Day, coach Williams brought his team down to meet with veterans of our armed forces to show them the face of the sacrifice that gives his player the privilege to play the game they love in freedom.
The powerful video and speech by coach Williams was to emphasize a point – they are just basketball players, and for the two and a half minutes that the team honors their country by playing the National Anthem before a game, they must show proper respect for those that have worn our nations colors.
