Op-Ed: Vitriol from Hillary Clinton’s supporters on “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi”

[starbox]

As “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” movie opened in theaters last weekend, I couldn’t help but notice the incessant and repetitive nasty critiques from those who are clearly in support of Hillary Clinton. The tone from these comments leaves no doubt that not only do they think Kris Paronto, a decorated US Army Ranger, is a flat out liar, but also part of the conspiracy in the ‘witch hunt’ against the former Secretary of State.

The news that this movie “flopped” at the box office is irrelevant when it comes to the truth, just ask the men who were there in Benghazi who desperately tried to save Americans from the hands of terrorists hell bent on killing them. Another truth? Hillary Clinton was never mentioned in the movie and she should have been, but at this point, “what difference does it make?” Hillary Clinton and her supporters liken this to a ‘witch hunt’ while the rest of us want the truth on why four of our Americans had to die in Benghazi; thank God Kris Paronto had the courage and bravery to tell his story of what really happened in Benghazi. Movie or no movie.

As Hillary Clinton supporters continue their tirade of cyclic venomous comments against “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi,” one question comes to mind that none of these dissenters nor Hillary Clinton herself can answer: “Were you in Benghazi when the lives of four Americans were in jeopardy?” None of you were in Benghazi that night and none of you have a right to complain about something you know nothing about, that being the truth of what really happened in Benghazi. So please, continue to entertain the fallacy Hillary Clinton wants you to believe because she has a lot to lose, the biggest loss being her bid for President of the United States.

As Hillary Clinton supporters continue their irrelevant rants on this movie, I’m reminded of an idiom that fits this perfectly: “love to hear yourself talk” and yes, that’s it and nothing more because at the end of the day, those opinions of theirs will never matter when it comes to the actual truth of what happened in Benghazi. They weren’t there nor was Hillary Clinton, but Kris Paronto was and he gains NOTHING by lying – a concept that the former Secretary of State has yet to learn.
