Ronda Rousey proved her class and that she keeps her word last night when she kept her promise that she made a few months back and attended Friday night’s Marine Corps Ball with Jarrod Haschert, the Marine who asked her. He asked her through video and it went viral video in August.
Rousey said yes under one condition:
“He’s gotta be a gentleman, though, I’m not a first date kind of girl. But, I dunno, we’ll see when I meet him.”

Despite being knocked out by Holly Holm in her latest bout and spending some time out of the spotlight, Rousey flew out to South Carolina on Friday morning and kept her word. TMZ caught up with her on her way to the airport.
“I promised I’d go. It’s an honor to be asked. Honestly, I’d probably stay on my couch, crying and eating ice cream if he hadn’t asked me. So it’s probably a good thing.”
The cameraman also asked about her thoughts on a rematch with Holm. She replied:
“It’s what I want, but it’s up to the UFC and it’s up to her camp, so we’ll see what happens.”
It looks like Rousey and Haschert had a great time.
