Former SEAL Team Six Officer, Rep. Ryan Zinke Considering Run for Speaker of the House

The Republican Party, which holds the majority of seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, is in search of a new leader.

Much time has been spent on cable news debating who should be elected Speaker of the House and each candidates’ experience, but one member with a completely unique background is now considering a run.

His name is Congressman Ryan Zinke, the current and only U.S. Representative from Montana, and he is a former SEAL Team Six officer! We can talk about political prowess all we want but when it comes down to true leadership, no one has that quality more than a SEAL officer!

Here is what he told SOFREP, “America needs leadership who will unite people, build a team, and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I think there are a few people who can do that. If folks like Paul Ryan and others step aside, and more of my colleagues ask me to run, I will hear the call to serve. Leadership is about service to country, not self. It’s time to advance the cause of freedom.”
