The Story Behind The Longest Sniper Shot EVER – 1.95 Miles!

The scene is Helmland Province Afghanistan in the year 2009.

The man behind the Arctic Warfare Magnum L115A3 rifle is Corporal of Horse (CoH) Craig Harrison of the British Household Cavalry.

His mission was to eliminate the Taliban machine gun team. As Harrison and his spotter are on a ridge they notice their patrol ambushed by the Taliban over 2,700 yards away – Well beyond the accuracy range of his rifle.
