FBI Alert: Middle Eastern Men Intimidating U.S. Military Families In CO & WY

An FBI alert has been issued to law enforcement agencies in Colorado and Wyoming after multiple reports of Middle Eastern men approaching the families of U.S. military personnel in an attempt to gain info through intimidation.

The alert cites Greeley, Colorado, and Cheyenne, Wyoming specifically as locations where this has occurred but notes:

“On numerous occasions family members of military personnel were confronted by Middle Eastern males in front of their homes.”

In one specific case last May a military wife was approached in front of her home by two Middle Eastern males who got out of a dark-colored sedan that also carried two other Middle Eastern men.

They said that her husband was a U.S. interrogator and when she denied it the men laughed at her. They had been seen in the neighborhood multiple times before.

If you live in Colorado and are approached please call the FBI Fort Collins Resident Agency at (970) 663-1028. If you’re in Wyoming contact the FBI Cheyenne Resident Agency at (307) 632-6224.
