Senator Obama in 2005: Outing Valerie Plame is a Crime
Over the weekend, the White House included the name and title of the CIA station chief in Afghanistan to worldwide media, blowing his cover and forcing him to leave the country.
“Remember what Obama as senator said about Valerie Plame? We have it right here. He called for an immediate Congressional investigation. He called it a possible “criminal act.” He said it jeopardized the safety of the networks of our intelligence agencies.”
Valerie Plame was a former covert operative, who by 2005 was publicly living the suburban DC lifestyle working a desk job for the CIA.
