So it seems only natural that former President George H.W. Bush would be made an honorary member of the Blue Angels.
The Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron, announced its newest member Friday on Twitter, including a team picture featuring the 89-year-old ex-President.
Note Bush’s wildly colored socks.
Bush, a Navy pilot during World War II, made parachute jumps to celebrate his 75th, 80th, and 85th birthdays.
He turns 90 on June 12. Who knows?
