(VIDEO) Marine Veteran Sings God Bless America In EPIC Fashion

This is the best rendition of God Bless America I’ve ever heard, no if ands or buts.

It took place last night at the World Series in Boston and brought the crowd ROARING to its feet! After the performance Twitter and Facebook blew up with comments and tweets praising the performance.

Take a listen and check out the EPIC fist pump/salute at the end!

Brought tears to my eyes and made me realize that most of us still love the USA! Thank You, Sir for your commitment and Bravery! I salute you even if the hatemongers won`t. Thanks to men and women like you, we are able to live in a free country! And Thanks to all who fought and are fighting to protect that right! I mourn the ones who died fighting for it and will never forget them. God Bless you all!

Truly lovely rendition of a beautiful song, however: “After America’s entrance into World War I, Major League Baseball games often featured patriotic rituals, such as players marching in formation during pregame military drills and bands playing patriotic songs. During the seventh-inning stretch of game one of the 1918 World Series, the band erupted into “The Star-Spangled Banner.” The Cubs and Red Sox players faced the centerfield flag pole and stood at attention. The crowd, already on their feet, began to sing along and applauded at the end of the song. Given the positive reaction, the band played the song during the next two games, and when the Series moved to Boston, the Red Sox owner brought in a band and had the song played before the start of each remaining contest. After the war (and after the song was made the national anthem by a congressional resolution in 1931), the song continued to be played, but only on special occasions like opening day, national holidays and World Series games.”

That was beautiful! It was obvious that this Marine believes in what he was singing.

It is just as obvious that he has, most likely unjustly because of his political beliefs as a loyal American, been given crap duty in the ass-end of nowhere. Look at his uniform: Two hash marks, sergeant stripes, and one itty-bitty ribbon. It’s too dark to make out, but he should have at least two rows of ribbons to his credit by now.

Things sure have changed, and not for the better.

    God bless this Marine.

Thank You sergeant for your service, and for a great rendition of a beautiful song. May God Bless You, and keep you. May he provide you comfort, and ensure that you are well provisioned to perform your duty wherever that may be. In Jesus name, AMEN.

It’s time for America! We The People are the only thing that can make or break this nation. We can do it IN SPITE of the White House! We can do it IN SPITE of Congress! We can do it IN SPITE of anything or anyone in Washington DC or Wall Street. Yes, we can! And we MUST! Because it is TIME FOR AMERICA!!!
