President George W. Bush has always made it a priority to support our troops and wounded veterans in both his presidency and post-presidency.

One of his post-presidency initiatives is the Warrior Open, a gold tournament featuring wounded veterans from all over the country. Pictures and scenes from the tournament have been inspiring. It’s incredible what these brave men and women have been able to do after suffering so much!
The Warrior Open is a competitive 36-hole golf tournament that takes place over two days every fall in the Dallas area. The event honors U.S. service members wounded in the global war on terror. The tournament spotlights organizations that support service members and their families. The first Bush Institute Pro-Am will take place on September 26, followed by the 2013 Warrior Open tournament on September 27-28, 2013 in Irving, Texas.
